Here I worked as a chef, for the first 3 months of employment. My roles were to run the kitchen on my own and too prepare and serve food to the public. I felt this was a good challenge, but unfortunately due to where the the
facility was situated there was no demand for food. For the last 8 months of my employment I moved onto
working the bar full time. This involved serving drinks and communicating with the general public. I thoroughly
enjoyed this role and I received a lot of compliments about my hospitality skills. My other main roles included
stock replenishment and to clean beer lines on regular occasions.
August 2011 - March 2013
worked as a a Commis chef this included preparation of foods. I was also in charge of the general service of food. In this restaurant, two days of the week I would be in charge of running the kitchen and had a team of 2
working with me.
