Mona Nduilu

Nairobi, Kenya

Summary

Like other story-writers I enjoys words. After studying Journalism, I worked as a courtroom reporter for two years with The African, a Tanzania based English daily, before doing a short stint on radio and television. Discovering that the electronic media was not her first love, Mona set to mark out a new-found territory - the world of converting DVDs & CDs and other formats into books.

“New ground had been broken and untouched territories discovered.”

This was overwhelmingly successful. From the number of inquiries, it became clear that more and more people, read Africans, were thinking of writing their book. This confirmed the fact that Africans too can hide great ideas in books. To reflect the growing niche I moved my work from passion into purpose. In 2007, she launched Kitabu Kizuri, distilled brand that rides on the strap line: Shaping Minds. Redefining Cultures.
