Two days a week I assisted the General Engineering department resourcing, this entailed contacting the people on the database and updating the system with their current work situation. This enabled us to see who is available for work and suitable candidates for our current vacancies. It also kept us in touch with the contractors that hadn't been spoken to for a while.

Due to the Managing Director being made redundant I worked as an Administrator assisting the Commercial Manager, organising functions & training, issuing a weekly survey to new contractors and following that up on a monthly basis collating the information to produce a progress report for the Directors & Department heads which covers UK & Global business to outline the progress of each department.
I organised a Fantasy Football League for Clients & Consultants, creating a weekly league table and organising prizes each month. At the end of the season we held an awards event, I arranged the whole function which includes venue, drinks reception, 3 course meal, after dinner speaker and an awards ceremony which has proved a huge success. This gave me a great opportunity to have regular contact with our clients and helped build a good rapour with them.
I also organised our annual Golf Day which is held at an exclusve Golf Club, inviting the clients, organising the team formation, arranging special requirements, foreseeing the event runs smoothly and hosting the evenings dinner & award ceremony.
Whilst the company were in between recruiting a new Receptionist I covered the busy reception during lunch and holidays, answering incoming calls, taking messages, greeting visitors & organising the meeting room agenda.

Promoted to P.A., it was my responsibility to organise the MD's diary, arrange meetings, create board reports, arrange travel and accommodation, organise functions & catering requirements & any other task required. Dealing with confidential documents & personal information on a daily basis always with the utmost respect.
I also managed all his internal/external calls, paperwork, typing and general office duties.
I was also brought on board to take over a new Customer Service procedure as the company didn't have one and they transferred to a new pay system this created a backlog in the pay system which resulted in complaints and pay issues. As the initial contact point for the procedure I was awarded a fee for my hard work and determination.

Whilst working at Butlin's I worked the summer period as a Security Guard, this was a varied and demanding job which I enjoyed. We worked direct with the police so it was vital we were precise and detailed with our paperwork, on occasions I had to take written statements so the information was thorough and correct.

Working as an Allocationist it was my responsibility to allocate the holiday makers apartments, taking the booking forms and allocating them with their accommodation. On arrival days I worked on reception, this was the busiest period greeting the holiday makers at the start of their holiday and dealing with any queries they had.
