Duties included: Primarily responsible for the picking, packing and shipping of customer orders. Be able to accurately pick stock for each order and ensure that packages are both well protected and professionally packed. Become well versed in the use of internal RelChron software systems, primarily Microsoft Access Front End Systems connected to the SQL Server databases. Liaise with Courier Drivers and be responsible for the correct booking in and checking of incoming goods as well as the timely despatch of outgoing goods. Be constantly vigilant to internal stock discrepancies, how this effects currently printed orders and be able to troubleshoot these situations. Proactively suggest timings for Stock Checks and perform Stock Checks accurately. Proactively keep internal “kits” up-to-date – build kits as required. Be able to cover the phones and take messages where appropriate. Be proactive to consumable stock running out. I.e. inform senior staff when packing materials or high selling items are running low on stock, so it can be reordered before it runs out completely. Ensure that end of day routines are always completed. Be flexible to changing Company situations and be able to work overtime where required.

Steaming clothes for them to be tagged and priced for going out on the shop floor. Cash handling and till operating, following all health and safety guidelines, cleaning and tidying the shop to ensure a good working environment.
