To whom it may concern,
I graduated from Teesside University in 2011 and since then I have worked extensively in the private sector as a musculoskeletal physiotherapist here in Ireland. I am responsible for my own caseload treating a wide range of problems that vary from common sporting injuries to complex spinal problems. The client caseload can vary from the very young to the older adult; each problem is thoroughly assessed and treated accordingly. I take great pride in my assessment skills. Away from the clinic, I am head physiotherapist for numerous sporting organisations, I am lead physiotherapist for both football and rugby clubs looking after player welfare from u-9 right through to the first team. I take great pride and interest in treating athletes and I am always looking to keep up to date with my cpd and current evidence.
To further enhance my knowledge is such a specialised area I have completed an advanced spinal therapy courses as accredited by Manual concepts Australia, I have also attended conferences on the athletic hip and groin run by Dr Eanna Valvey who is the Irish rugby team doctor, at the renowned sports surgery clinic in Dublin. I have completed courses in Kinesio Taping as accredited by Kinesio UK and Dry needling. In my two years since qualifying, I have worked hard at this particular area in which I have such a keen interest. As my communication is second to none both with athletes and clients, I am meticulous in my assessment and treatment, and I strive to nothing but the best for each athlete and client I treat. In relation to my musculoskeletal skills, I have been keen to develop my skills as a paediatric physiotherapist, and I have been doing this with a private service in Co Cavan, some of the disorders treated include Autistic spectrum disorders, brain injury, cerebral palsy, co ordination difficulties that include dyspraxia and developmental coordination disorder, developmental delays, learning difficulties and sensory integration/
