I was retired for eight years, but they kept pulling me back in. I started out at Paramount, spent some amazing quality time learning at ACT III with Norman Lear, and ran the well attended 5th Network dinner events for three years. Having worked for Triad, William Morris and ICM, my exhusband and I opened ACME Talent & Literary in 1993 in Los Angeles and added an east coast office in 1996. We grew each of the ten years I was CEO, adding a sports department, tv lit, voice over, musical theater, adult talent, children's department, and full service commercial departments on both coasts. I concentrated on film lit, selling ELF, SAVE THE LAST DANCE, and WORLD TRADE CENTER, the Nicolas Cage film, before stepping down and retiring and moving to Maui in 2006. 2007, you could find me walking Final Draft and Script Magazine through the festival circuit; i.e. Sundance, Tribeca, and Cannes. 2008, I helped that year's Sundance Film Festival Audience Award winner, FIELDS OF FUEL with press and promotions until it was screened in Washington D.C. for the U.S. Senate.

Started a movement of The Useful Generation: Those of us who are not looking for a job, are happy being retired, and are still Useful. We are baby boomers who worked hard in the 80's and 90's and LOVED it. We were preppy and yuppy and now we sit around and smoke cigars and talk about the good old days, before the internet and reality television. Now don't get me wrong. These days, National Geographic, BBC, The History Channel, and Discovery own my evenings. And with what I now know about Dinosaurs...I'm became even more useful.

Fast forward to 2011. Spent the last eight years studying politics as if I was going for a doctorate degree. Picked up, left Maui, moved to D.C. and developed a following on Facebook for fellow aggregators of policy issues and legislative campaigns.

The Problem with Pine Ridge -- Documentary

Documentary on the current status of the Lakota Reservation in South Dakota which is still referred to by its POW Camp name from 1872 by the United States government. We discuss their version of history, what it is like to live there now (high rates of suicide, diabetes, alcoholism, drug abuse, poverty, black mold, birth defects, sex abuse, etc. etc.). Then we talk about the great programs that are just getting off the ground to restore and protect the Lakota culture and save their youth from the gangs taking over the Reservation. Lastly, we take a look at what our new Administration, and how their new Recovery Plan can help out here in the areas of Greening our Tribal Lands, EPA protections, after school programs, education reform, and the possibility of restoring our Countries reputation by going back and repairing the treaties that have been broken.

Shepard Fairey's Vote For Change Redux is a multi-media art time capsule featuring exclusive never-before-seen footage from the world-famous Shepard Fairey's Vote For Change Video Postcard Campaign, alongside a recap from select celebs celebrating the achievements of America's First Black President. In light of these trying economic times, it is important to remind ourselves of the Hopes for Change that led to the election of the First Black President of the United States in 2008. We must remain engaged in the very process that we Hoped to Change in order to see those Changes take place. Through this multi-media project (powered by the people for the people), we hope to re-engage The Peoples' Hopes For Change and reconnect our President with the American People.

Under this tent, we gaze at the wonderfully woven network we've created of pro Obama postpartisan grassroots groups of community organizers. Meeting Monthly, in each County/Parish, in every State and D.C. our goal is to discuss local issues and work on solutions.
We then blog about those solutions, or unresolved issues, in MyBO thereby empowering each other with that assembled knowledge. We roll up our sleeves, and put on our tool belts, 'cause there's gonna be some hard work ahead, and are eyes are on the prize.

Different People all working for the greater good. Each of us calling parts of this great land home. We may just as easily be looking out over amber waves of grain or surf's up waves at sunset in Hawaii. And when we do, we all see something more. We see freedom. We feel pride. We are Americans and we know that there is nothing in this world we can't accomplish when we work on it together!!! Different Counties, Different People, Different Needs, One Voice, One President.

Funded by the September 11th Fund, this Documentary followed the lives of 30 survivors of 9/11 who were just beginning to get their lives back on track (2 years later) thanks to Safe Horizon's groundbreaking work with those who have experienced emotional or physical trauma. Shot and produced in English, Spanish, Mandarin Chinese & Cantonese, this effort resulted in a total of four (4) documentaries.

The Incorporated Television Company (or ITC Entertainment as it was more commonly referred to on-screen) was a British television company largely involved in production and distribution. It was founded by television mogul Lew Grade in 1954 (as the Incorporated Television Production Company). For almost thirty years ITC was active in producing television and film content. ITC continued to distribute its past library, before ceasing operations in 1998 with the death of its founder. The large library of ITC productions continues to be popular around the world with new audiences discovering ITCs original output through television repeats, books and DVD releases.
ITC is best known for being the company behind many successful British cult TV programmes during the 1960s and 1970s, such as The Saint, Danger Man, The Baron, The Champions, The Prisoner, Thunderbirds, Man in a Suitcase, Strange Report, Department S, The Persuaders!, Jason King, The Adventurer, The Protectors and Return of the Saint. It was also the production company for The Muppet Show and Julie on Sesame Street. In 1964 Gerry Anderson's AP Films became part of ACC and produced the hugely successful children's series Thunderbirds. As well as television programming ITC also produced several films - including On Golden Pond, Capricorn One, The Eagle Has Landed, The Boys from Brazil, The Return of the Pink Panther, The Last Unicorn, Sophie's Choice and a number of Jim Henson Company productions: The Dark Crystal and the first two Muppet films - The Muppet Movie and The Great Muppet Caper. It was also behind Franco Zeffirelli's Biblical mini-series Jesus of Nazareth. As a distribution company, ITC was also the world-wide distributor for Thames Television's The Benny Hill Show[6].

For three years, once a month, gathered Production and Development Executives from TV & Film to attend a sit down dinner for networking purposes in venues all over Los Angeles. With over 600 members, we rotated the list to accommodate from between 80 and 120 people per month. We included cinematographers, writers, producers, directors, composers, and almost no actors. Our criteria? You had to be nice. You had to be nice, believe in responsible programming, and making a difference in the Entertainment Industry. CNN came to our events twice, and the Hollywood Reporter and LA Times covered our events often. This positively formed group was responsible for many business ventures and launching of companies that are still productive to this day, as well as a couple of weddings.
