Summary:

as a Care Co-ordinator my role is to assist the Business Manager in managing the delivery of all required care services in Richmond area in a competent and professional manner. To maintain effective and positive communication between the local office and the Company’s administration team, Local Authority departments, private customers and other external agencies. Ensuring the provision of care and the allocation of care-workers for the Company’s Customers, and for such other Customers as the Company may from time to time advise.
Supervising staff performance, including formal annual staff Appraisals, regular supervisory meetings. Chairing and minuting meetings. Liaising on a day-to-day basis with Social Services on all matters concerning the Company’s Service Users. To work with the Field Care Supervisors and carry out as required initial Customer Assessments, including Risk Assessments; and keeping all assessments under regular Review (as often as deemed necessary, but in any case at least annually) Maintaining all records including hard and electronic copies up to date. Maintaining full, up-to-date and accurate records and files of care-workers and Customers, in and ensuring that no unauthorised access is granted to records. Preparing staff rosters, to ensure the proper continuity of ongoing delivery of care. Re-allocating shifts as necessary, to cover staff absences. Investigating and responding effectively to all complaints received regarding the Area Office or care-worker performance, in line with the Company’s agreed Complaints Procedures. To share on call duties.
My role demands daily use of the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and the internet to create/send reports, plus Cold Harbour – the system containing full database (clients and employees).

These included but were not limited to: Management visits to Customers, Initial Customer Assessments, Risk Assessments, Start-up, administration and review of new support packages, Customer Reviews, Support Worker supervision & support, Support Worker training (including recommending for specialist courses), Support work: Fill-in & emergency cover, Liaison with other agencies (eg Social Services) regarding service provision, administration (eg planning rotas) and on-call (out-of-hours telephone)

The parent company was founded in 1997 as Kevin & Thorn Plc. for the purpose of managing properties of the Bohemian Group of Companies (Bohemian Foundation and Trust) - Colorado, U.S., and other private equity funds as well as venture capital investors. The company name was changed in 1998 to Indotek Investments Plc.

The company has carried out property business activities mainly on the Hungarian market, in principal the capital Budapest, however the portfolio includes an ever growing country-side real estate business. Investments are aimed at acquiring and utilizing commercial properties, such as offices and storages or warehouses, but also takes part of development of residential houses and other properties.

Starting out as an assistant for this multinational company, with my advanced level of English and organisation skills, my role rapidly changed to Real Estate Manager. Before long, I was managing several Warehouses and Office buildings, Residential homes with more than 100 tenants including one of the world's biggest clothes distributor (Marks & Spencer) and one of the biggest telecommunication companies (British Telecom).

My role also contained sales, marketing research and dept management. Besides industrial estates my role was to manage housing estates with private tenants. I took part in the whole real estate management process.

As a remote receptionist I was based in the office of Cosmopolitan Cosmetics - a wholesale marketer and supplier of prestige fragrances. I was responsible for answering visitors' inquiries about a company and its products or services, directing visitors to their destinations, sorting and handing out mail, answering incoming calls on multi-line telephones, organising meetings/conferences, travel arrangements and the general daily running of the business for this wholesale company.
