Hold vast therapeutic experience having worked in different settings in South Africa : at Weskoppies Adult & Child Psychiatric Ward (In-Out Patient Ward); at Tara Hospital in the Adolescents and Eating Disorders Ward; at Baragwaneth Hospital in the Child Psychiatry Ward and subsequently at Helen Joseph Hospital in the Adult Psychiatric Ward. In addition, have also run prison groups for the rehabilitation of rapists over the course of 6 months and have worked with children who were sexually abused at The Teddy Bear Clinic.

In Israel, over past six years, have been working as a clinical psychologist in various therapeutic settings : 'Aloot' (therapeutic organisation for autistic children); Abarbanel Psychiatric Hospital (women's closed ward); Tabetha Primary and High School; Yeldey Israel Protection home ( children that have been removed from the care of their biological parents and placed in foster homes ); at 'The Green Institute' (a private clinic) ; and over the past three years I have developed my own Private Practice, having over 25 weekly sessions with patients between the ages of 10 - 61.

Summary:

I have published an article re – my Masters Thesis in the The Psycho-analytic Psychotherapy in South Africa - Volume 16 , No 2, 2008. In addition, I have just finished publishing a book, "Voiceless, in a Starving Inner World" that is now available on Amazon.com. I have various therapeutic experiences having worked at Tara Hospital in the Adolescents and Eating Disorders Ward, at Baragwaneth Hospital in the Child Psychiatry Ward and subsequently at Helen Joseph Hospital in the Adult Psychiatric Ward. Here in Israel I have worked with autistic children, at Abarbanel Hospital and in private practice. I thus have expereince in child, adolescent and adult psychotherapy, as well as, do psychological assessments comprising of emotional and intellectual functioning.

Treat a multitude of differing emotional struggles such as separation and individuation, anxiety, identity issues, body dysmorphic issues, depression, panic disorders, relationships issues, couples therapy, children caught in divorce disputes, borderline and narcissistic personality disorders, cases of anorexia, bulimia, and obesity.

CAREER OBJECTIVES
Would be extremely interested to work and teach in the Australian community. Due to my multicultural exposure, having lived in South Africa, Israel, Holland, England and Paris, and showing a quick ability to settle and integrate into diversity, feel I bring a world of richness and experiences that enable me to reach out and touch the mental health communities in Australia. My mother tongue is English, however, am fluent in Hebrew, and based on my references and academic results, feel well equipped to both communicate and interrelate within your country and culture.
