✓ Signing visitors in and out adhering to security regulations. Contacting members of staff to let them know that their visitor has arrived.
✓ Reminding first aiders of their duty and issuing radios.
✓ Cash handling - devising spread sheets and recording data. Set up codes on cash register. Process payments through the till, issuing change. Maintaining the float, issuing welfare money and cheques. Cashing up till system, recording on database and logging with finance.
✓ Signposting emails to relevant areas of college
✓ Assist with interviews and open events - usually school leavers, therefore good personal skills and being approachable was imperative. Providing a high level of customer service and care. Taking names and marking off on paperwork. Keeping them informed of the process and directing people to relevant rooms and areas.
