• All projects were of a Shut Down nature and required working 12 hour shifts 7 days per week for up to 4-6 week periods to ensure that all work was completed to standards and in line with very specific and aggressive timescales and schedules

• Learning the various machines which included guillotine for cutting sheet metal and flat bar up to 6mm
• Usage of oxygen/acetylene for larger work up to 50-60mm in thickness
• Involved in using brake press for folding, plasma cutting manual, steel rollers, pedestal drill, iron worker, milling machine, workshop bandsaw for cutting lengths of steel to preferred size, gouging for repairing buckets etc
• Welding consisted of MIG within the workshop but also used MMA if required, exposure also to TIG Welding
• Fabrication of hoppers, conveyors and elevators for local animal feed mills
• Installation of such products were carried out over the weekend to ensure completion of project usually requiring 12-14 hours to complete job
• Involved in work for EPS - a nationwide company specializing in design, manufacture and fabrication of Daf tanks, platforms, stairs, railings, ladders and structural steel for a wide variety of projects through Ireland
• Repairing of truck bodies and buckets of various sizes for local Construction companies requiring gouging work on bucket thickness, ub, uj, channel, round bar and square bar
