As part of my final year project I worked towards the detection of paracetamol in human saliva by HPLC and HPLC-MS methods with a variety of different sample preparation techniques including solid phase extraction, liquid-liquid extraction and reconstitution.

This involved 6 weeks work in a laboratory environment, filling out health and safety forms related to safe chemical handling and reporting to a project supervisor.
