Ambitious and energetic mathematically trained Dancer with extensive experience, which includes tutoring mathematics K - College, teaching Math Move and Creative Movers at Brooklyn Music School, teaching Math Move as a NIA activities specialist, event planning, assisting the Dance Faculty at Mark Morris Dance Center and training individuals with mental and developmental limitations at The Guild for Exceptional Children.

After graduating from Birmingham-Southern College with a B.A in Dance and Mathematics, this Alabama native relocated to Brooklyn to pursue a career in dance and continue work tutoring students in math.

Kilpatrick is currently developing Mathematical Movement an educational arts program for kinesthetic and visual learners. She sees the method as a tool for retaining and understanding principles of math and science in a physical, applicable, and fun environment. The course serves as supplemental education to equip student for competition on an international level in math and science.

Kilpatrick enjoys teaching group Math Move Basics & Elementary classes as part of Brooklyn Music School's Arts Reaching Youth afterschool program. Math Move Coordinate is a branch of the method for training individuals with mental, developmental, and physical limitations; coming in 2014. She has also presented her research for Troy University's Math Conference, BSC Honors Day, BSC Board of Directors A

Founder/Artistic Director Bessie Award winning choreography Germaul Barnes former Bill T. Jones Dancer In Collaboration with the Restoration Plaza Theater.

Black Buddha is Mr. Barnes first full-evening length work. It is an autobiographical piece that seeks to relate to the life stories of the audience and artist involved in production. The piece seeks to unite the brooklyn community through each of our journey in search for enlightment.
