Holburn - Secretary - Edinburgh, Scotland, UK

Lesley Holburn

Edinburgh, Scotland, UK

I am an experienced secretary/PA with the majority of my experience being within the legal sector. My experience covers all secretarial administration duties, reception duties, copy typing, digital dictation, diary management, point of contact for clients, PA duties. I enjoy the legal sector but I am also keen to enter new sectors where I can use and put my extensive secretarial experience and organisational skills to full use in a new environment.

Work History

Secretary to Litigation Partner, fee earner and trainee

From May 2013

• Audio typing
• Scanning and filing of mail
• Arranging accommodation/travel when necessary
• Compiling court papers

Reason for Wanting
To Leaving: The role is not nearly challenging enough and there is definitely not enough work to keep me going, I am constantly picking up work from other departments to keep busy. I have no client interaction and due to the small amount of work I am unable to really get to grips with my own work and feel that I have little to no knowledge of the actual clients or their cases and this is something that I sorely miss. I enjoy a full secretarial/PA position but unfortunately my current position doesn't offer that potential at all.
