I'm interested in body work, and find that by having a regular practice like Yoga we can help maintain a healthy lifestyle, becoming more mindful and approaching life with more awareness of how we move, breathe and interact with our fellow human beings.
There are many paths into Yoga and the last 20years a boom in the different styles, but for me it seems more than to just move from one position to another, there is a certain depth inside, that after practicing makes you feel more spacious on the inside.
Vanda Scaravelli, found an intelligent way to move with her body not using the limbs as leavers but to be more gentle and to work with gravity rather than against it.
To explore the body and its movements and it doesn't matter if you don't enter a full yoga asana, it seems its all about our journey, I guess it's a bit like life sometimes things are very easy and other times hard but we find a way round so as to arrive at what ever place we need to be, because that's where we are meant to be.
