Pre-Payroll Administration - Checking of transport claims and collection of telephone debt then submitting to HR/Payroll.

Job purpose: We ensured a fully functional desktop environment within the Nedbank Group for the Western Cape and Eastern Cape provinces. Providing telephonic support I served as a desktop and/or software support technician. The focus was taking logged incidents/calls in hand and closing resolved incidents in the shortest time possible or else escalating unresolved incidents. Some of our tasks involved troubleshooting, installing and upgrading software, connecting and managing network devices, general pc maintenance/clean-ups and remote logins to the user's personal computers when and if necessary. All this is done in a helpdesk/call centre environment. Doing our best to resolve issues and providing good customer service was always important.
