I have been working as a Guest Relations in Intercontinental Congo for 3 years. My duties were to
create a guest history for each guest staying at the hotel,
preparing welcome letters for new guests and special treatment for VIPs,
always check that regular guests have an enjoyable stay, also check the NO SHOW and remove their welcome letters from the room they have reserved and rerwrite other welcome letters for new replacement,
make the tour of all reserved rooms before occupation; making sure that the housekeeping, roomservice, maintenance have done their job in order to make our guests feel like home,
give to each of them a Guest Satisfaction Form that will help the hotel for its Survey,
approach guests personnally, talk with them, let them always feel welcome
Hotel Intercontinental CONGO
September 2003 - May 2006
During the year 2005, I as a Guest Relations welcomed the King of Morroco Mohammed VI and his 300 loyal counsellors, right hand, Chefs and royal guards. The present event lasted 3 days and His Majesty signed in the Golden Book of the hotel I had brought him to express his happiness and satisfaction during his 3 day stay in the Royal Suite.
Hospitality Multi Language Improvement
My project will be to improve and welcome other languages especially in the Guest Relations Job.
I would put an accent in European languages such as French which I speak fluently, together with English,
German, Spanish and Italian would be a great plus as well, having all this baggage of language will only enlarge the hotel opportunity to receive guests from all over the world, having to share their cultures and also having the hotel I wil be working at to make itself an international reputation.
