Key Responsibilities:
• Heading up the creative studio on daily operation and reporting to the COO,
• Lead creative designer for the company's major clients,
• Managing job traffic and scheduling work to junior staff within studio,
• Developing briefs with account managers and providing creative direction for job execution,
• Liaise with clients on design, project development and management

• Revamping the Sizwe Medical Fund brand design. As the lead designer, working closely with the copywriter, I designed Sizwes' corporate brand manual which dictates use of the new
brand identity system, imagery and layout. I also manage and maintain Sizwes' advertising and communications collaterals for various mediums including print, outdoor and web-based
• Developed a project management system for internal job trafficking which led to a more
efficient workflow within the entire company. I also trained the staff on workflow - from first
client contact to final delivery of work through using the new system.

ACCOLADES: Winner of the Mobile Innovation Hackathon for Botswana

Gaborone, Botswana

The event was part of the Mobile Innovation Roadshow (MIR), a joint project between infoDev and the
Southern African Innovation Support Programme (SAIS), both funded by the Government of Finland.
Botswana was one of four Southern African countries on the tour; events were also held in Namibia,
Mozambique and Zambia.

The Mobile Innovation Hackathon Day was aimed at engaging graphic designers and mobile
application developers to build promising ideas into mobile application prototypes, and to raise
awareness of opportunities for mobile entrepreneurs.

Key Responsibilities:
• New business development,
• Managed client and supplier database,
• Coordinated and maintained budgets,
• Staff training and management,
• Provided creative direction to internal and outsourced graphic designers and photographers
• Coordinated internal workflow, production and quality control.

• LMK Brand Design was one of the first selected SMME companies in Botswana to participate on a 2 year Business Incubation Programme by the Local Enterprise Authority (LEA). During the programme, LMK assumed pole position through an innovative collaboration with LEA to assist its start-up businesses with design and branding solutions around the country.
• LMK became the preffered marketing and communications service provider for LEA amongst
Botswana's well-established advertising agencies such as Horizon Ogilvy and Wired Y&R.
• LMK was tasked by LEA during the 12 months contract term to market and advertise its 4th
Annual SMME Conference and Fair event in 2012. The event attracted the highest crowd
turn-out of 36% over the expected 7, 000 attendants.

Reason for closing LMK: Botswana experienced a heavy economic downturn during 2012/13 financial years, which led to companies investing less in communications and advertising services.

I lead the development and design of the brand guideline for Gauteng Department of Housing
(GDoH). I also trained the GDoH's communications and marketing department on the use and management of the brand based on the manual.

Reason for leaving Plutonic: To explore business opportunities in Botswana.
