I was a senior consultant in a specialist bespoke touring and wedding's abroad team based in the UK. I was responsible for managing and converting streamed leads into sales through a strong understanding of product combined with client relationship skills. This role involved creating individual tailored travel itineraries for clients directly and via other Trailfinders consultants in destinations considered more unusual and challenging than most, which involves developing firm relationships to get an understanding of the client's aspirations and requirements. The creating of itineraries also involves liaising with suppliers throughout the World whilst ensuring high levels of accuracy. In addition I provided leadership, training and motivation to more junior members of the office within the department.
During my time at Traifinders, I progressed quickly through various levels due to consistent sales figures and whilst operating using best practice with proven accuracy and attention to detail. With this I was in turn selected for a number of specialist sales teams selected to develop new high spend clients and represent the company at corporate events.

Duty manager of a retail wine merchant with key responsibilities including stock control, financial reporting, customer relations, training of new staff, and acting in a mentor capacity.
During my time working at Vintage Cellars I was responsible for expanding the range of stock including imported and domestic beer. I helped the store gain a reputation for service and quality and developed a large customer base. As a consequence, the store has been lifted into the top ten Vintage Cellars stores Australia wide. The stores are rated on a number of key performance indicators such as average customer spend, stock control and gross profit margin amongst others.
North and South America
Travelling Abroad Various Work and Study Undertaken
Travelled extensively throughout South East Asia, North and South America for a period eighteen months. During this period I undertook a number of short term positions including as bar work in both New York and the Cayman Islands, and teaching English in Colombia. As part of my time traveling in South America, I under took the opportunity to increase my fluency in Spanish, achieving a high level of written and oral proficiency. During my time traveling, I was able to develop my inter-personal skills and immerse myself in various cultures.
Psychiatric Nursing Assistant

As a nursing assistant, I was entrusted with general nursing duties, patient care, one on one counseling and daily revues of patient status. I was also responsible for the administration and written reports required for allocated patients, assisting in the development of patient skills required for integration into non-locked wards and life in the general community.
Through the course of my duties, I developed a good rapport with patients and staff alike. I was also regularly entrusted with duties beyond the normal scope of my position including being called upon to diffuse difficult situations and supervise patients, which were particularly troubled.
I worked for Group 4 Correction Services as a senior officer within the admissions area of the prison. I was responsible for the supervision of all movements in and out of the prison. This required a liaison role with various legal agencies and the courts. In addition, I was part of a specific security team responsible for high security escorts, targeted searching regimes and response to major incidents.
Employed prior to the commissioning of a newly established maximum-security prison, and as such participated in the development and introduction of new procedures, administration, and restructuring daily operations in response to problems as they arose. Developed skills in adapting to, and working in high pressure situations where flexibility in responsiveness is required.
Acting as a representative of a Turkish Textile company my principal role was to source textile machinery and establish supplier contracts in Europe. Other duties included the negotiation, purchase and transport of machinery into Turkey for sale to local textile producers.
Incorporated within the position was the need for constant travel, something in which I thrived on. It also allowed me to interact with people of extremely varied personality and status finding common ground and gaining experience in business negotiations. During my time of employment, the company was able to rapidly expand and increase sales due to the greater availability of machinery sourced through new suppliers.
Worlds End & Underworld, Camden
Duties included; recruiting, training and appraisals of all staff to corporate requirements; Budgeting and cash flow control of businesses with annual turnover of approximately $5 million; Attend monthly marketing meetings to plan new promotions and events to boost business; Liaison with international booking agents, promoters, tour managers and acts; Control of weekly stock ordering with an average site holding of $300,000. I ensured conformity with corporate policy on cash handling, security, customer service and Health & Safety procedures.
I managed the Underworld Club which was part of the largest pub in Britain. Glendola Leisure were the first leisure company to achieve the UK Government's "Investors in People Standard" and I was part of the Worlds End training team responsible for training of all the pub and nightclub staff.
