I operate a dive service company that specializes in science diving and nautical archaeological research (underwater archaeology) ,I and any who operate with me subscribe to the principles of the UNESCO accords and all work is done in compliance with both local and territorial law. My experience is wide ranged and varied in researching everything from shipwrecks to submerged historic sites. I am a Full Member of the American Academy of Underwater Sciences (Science Diving) as well a Member of the Institute of Maritime History ( Underwater Archaeology).
As well I conduct submerged environmental survey, reef studies as well as side scan sonar and down imaging sonar surveys, familiar with the operations of most underwater appliances, underwater photography.
I am the former project director of the Northern Neck of Virginia Shipwreck Survey which documented both shipwrecks and historic sites submerged within the Commonwealth of Virginia.
My other credentials include being the project director of the Cat Point Creek Environmental Research Project which was under the auspices of the River Corridors and Wetlands Restoration Partners Program of the United States Environmental Protection Agency. (principally restoration and submerged aquatic and Limnetic studies, as well as Bathymetric and Benthic studies.
In addition to the above skills I possess special skills which applies to other areas of maritime operations and security of ships and shipping.
Involvement of diving has included but not limited to Wreck Survey, Environmental Studies,(identifying point sources of pollution, reef survey, population studies), Hazards survey, submerged beach and channel survey, Insurance work.
