Plans, directs, administers and coordinates personnel, resources and procedures for investigations, in charge of the investigation team, form investigative projects, task teams and specialized group to combat crime, safety of the community and of fellow members to provide good service. Set up meetings with community leaders to focus on active criminal activities and or hotspot areas, comply with legal requirements. Communicate the policing needs and problems with my management.
Develops specialized plans and performs research on projects assigned.
Conduct inspections of case dockets, informers files, firearms, maintenance of fleet, review the utilization of all Police equipment.
Administrative duties and effective management of employees, prepares and supervises the preparation of necessary reports and records.
Establishes direct liaison with members of the community for the purpose of improving Police service and improving department community communications.

Attend to Justice meetings, liaise with Prosecutors and legal teams, Attend to Station Crime Combating Forum (SCCF), Attend to Municipal meetings in connection with crime in the area.
Attend to community meetings with CPF and other stake holders to talk and discuss crime in the area.
Perform functional duties such as patrols (foot and vehicle), and doing roadblocks.
Compile Section 205 subpoenas in fraud and intimidation cases.
Duties (KPA's): Follow basic SAPS Act procedures, standing orders;
Conduct investigations, attends to all crime scenes reported, identify crime committed, identify perpetrators and as well as witness, interviewing of witnesses and suspects, collect all evidence and obtain statements.
Recover the lost properties, Investigate all cases (mostly serious cases) such as thefts, accidents, frauds, rapes, murders, malicious damage to property, incidents and harzadous situations and serious assault cases.

formerly known as Charge Office where I was doing Charge office duties by attending to community and obtaining of statements and affidavits, and also worked at the Crime Prevention Unit where I was doing crime prevention duties such as foot patrols, vehicle patrols, attend to scenes and attend crowd controls(riots), conducting road blocks, stop and search of vehicles and persons, then in 1996 I was appointed as an Investigator (Detective) where I started doing investigation, I attended Investigators course (Detective course) in 1998 and in 2005 was appointed as a Group/ Team leader to do administrative work and to lead the group or team under my supervision, and be the part of Station Management, I attended Junior Management Learning Program in 2010 and also attended internal courses such as CAS(crime administration system), Circulation course, Conflict Management, Stress management, Assertive leadership, Mentorship skills, domestic violence, vulnerable children, safety management and hazardous workshops, analyzing cases and identifying of possible criminals.
I am a tough working person, have good listen skills, dedicated to my work, fit enough to face any new challenges, creative and can work alone even in tense situations, I'am extremely motivated and can work independently and as well as part of any team when necessary, eager to learn more and to improve myself, socializing, flexible to work on public holidays and or long hours as long that will benefit the company. To promote and protect the dignity of the company is one of super targets. I also manage and maintain the utilization of company resources (eg vehicles, communication radios, firearms, registers), also gained bit of experience in maintaining the safety in the company premises involving employees.

in three months promoted to Supervisor's position where I was in charge of all members which were posted/ allocated at Empangeni commonly known as Sanlam Centre, I also had to give guidance to my members and to address the SAPS members of all that had been reported, I had to compile daily reports, hold meetings with my staff, my management and with mall management, made sure that all vacant/deserted posts are covered, control my office Occurance book and all registers, control and safe keep the company equipment in my office. I had to control and maintain the attendance register when reporting on or off duty of all members and conduct investigation of certain incident occurred within my patrol area (the whole mall).
