> Experience working effectively within a collaborative team with PARC, CRF and Pathways staff.
> Built trust and rapport with consumers.
> Drawing on my lived experience of mental illness and recovery,
Provided support and instilled confidence and hope into consumers about the recovery journey.
> Experience working with consumers 1:1 and advocate for them if needed.
> Actively participated in reflective practice, planning sessions, team meetings ect.
> Create, respect and maintain consumer, staff boundaries.
> Encourage consumers to make choices about their life pathways.
> Help consumers to build/ expand life skills.
> Assist consumers search for accommodation.
> Use active listening and show emphy.
> Help consumers identify and use their 'library of resources."
> Facilitation of running a group based rehabilitation program, Creative Arts.
> Play a key role in making the consumers feel welcomed and valued when then enter PARC.
> Offer consumers the opportunities to talk about problem solving strategies.
> Empower consumers to make choices about their care and life.
> Encourage positive growth and change.

I've currently established a Arts Program (May 2014) at Prevention And Recovery Care (PARC) Community Rehabilitation Facility (CRF) Barwon. The program is on once a week and runs for 2 hours its for the clients staying at CFR/PARC.
