While at Corrections, I participated 5 years as a Shop Instructor Assistant teaching youth the safe use of tools, methods and handling of materials for small projects. My role with Parks Canada allowed me to supervise adult inmates during a large maintenance project at a National Historic Site.

Assist in an educational setting with high risk, high needs youth ages 12-18 facilitating group and individual programs
Medical holding supervision, administer medications, medical transports
Emergency response, incident reporting
Prepare institutional reports: Provincial Director Conditions, Level of Service Inventory, Progress Reports, Re-Integration Leaves, Admission Conferences and Daily Resident Logs
Monitor and assist in the safe use of tools and equipment
Conduct security checks, administer lockdowns, extractions, restraints, gang related awareness, guided group interventions and suicide training
