Gorgeous Marbled Fabrics

Each Marbled Print is 100% unique. I can repeat the same patterns for a particular range and style that you are wanting to carry through or we could simply stick to the palette and go for random design.
Have a look at the gallery here on my website, to get an understanding.
I have many large trays to marble in. BIG Scale Marbling is my thing. So we can go as big as 1.10m x 1.1m square, 2,3m x 0.5(scarf tray), 1.2m x 0.6mm. The dress is supplied in sizes for different panels. The fabrics are pre washed, marbled, cured and then washed to be brought back to it's natural texture and flow.
The selection of fabrics are much bigger than many would think. Of course the natural fibres yield extremely high print quality, but then again do some of the blends. The smoother the fabric the finer and more detailed the designs and the softer the flow. So the smoother the better.
I currently have a massive selection of satins - perfect for evening wear. I do also print in metallic and florescent. Gold and Silver on dark fabrics are gorgeous. Add some sequins or glass beads and the results are breath taking.
Otherwise go the soft and flowing way of perhaps Chiffon with season colours, turquoise, blues and greens?
I quote according to the commission at hand. Normally per panel. From there you will cut to pattern and sew.
I LOVE working with fabrics and have the vision of pattern and how it wraps and glides or hops.

Paper Marbling for ALL Sorts

I can reproduce marbled patterns. Not one is every the same although the pattern and palette is carried through the entire stationery collection. So how it works is that you need to decide which patterns you like and specify the colours of choice for your wedding or paper project. Do you want it bold and bright or classically raked into bouquets or peacock patterns. This is a step by step process which has extremely rich and rewarding results. There truly are few things as lush as getting a piece of fine marbled paper.

Digital Backdrops

I custom create once off marbled backdrops on paper for digital artists who scan and edit or play with the images. John Kidd, Military Pin Up Artist, in London, commissioned a more psychedelic range for this seasons profile posters. These are the papers just sent to him last month. August 2013.

Legacy Hotel Group Marbled Papers

Suminagashi style marbled papers were printed for the bookend papers for the Legacy Contemporary Art collection which was catalogued and bound in leather for the marketing of the collection on the European market. The fine papers were all done in mono scales. Follow this link to the project on facebook.
