With more than 15 years of legal experience, Kyle T. Kirts currently represents clients in the Dayton area. His practice emphasizes felony and misdemeanor criminal defense, traffic defense, juvenile law, and family law. Before establishing his own practice in Ohio, Kyle T. Kirts served as lobbyist and general counsel with the Illinois State Lodge Fraternal Order of Police (ILFOP). In this role, he drafted and presented legislation. Additionally, he sought out and secured legislative sponsors for initiatives. He also played a pivotal role in determining ILFOP positions on legal matters and served as the voice of the organization by fielding legal and political questions.
Previously, Kyle Kirts spent six years as a Republican staff attorney with the Illinois House of Representatives. He contributed to the Elections and Campaign Reform Committee, the Juvenile Justice Reform Committee, and the Criminal Law Committee. He also drafted and analyzed legislation and worked with other members of the House and their staffs.
