My responsibilities involve develop and document design, source base and architecture, maintain and manage existing source bases, design, develop and implement solutions to users' needs and requirements, develop technical solutions to complex business problems, ensure that the code is reusable, design and develop logical and physical data models that meet application requirements, provide support to fellow developer if they are running behind with their projects. I also help my fellow developers in techniques to optimize their code and share new ideas and technologies which have never been used within the business. The biggest example for this would be the implementation of SQL End Points as a web services but running from a SQL Server. In the absence of a senior developer I would hold SCRUM meeting with the team and feedback to the chief developer. I am also responsible for providing support and development of internally developed application (Operations Paperwork), SQL Jobs running using SSIS Packages and DTS Packages and also provide support for and development for existing/new website suites (Internal and External). If any of my fellow developers are running behind with their project I would assist them in completing their project and then carry on with my project and ensure that my project also gets completed on or before the deadline. Part of my job role is to work on extremely tight deadlines and also ensure the project is completed to high standards.

My responsibilities involve web development using HTML, DHTML, Ajax, JavaScript, Flash, .Net 2003/2005, ASP.Net 2003/2005, Visual (2003/2005) SQL Server 2000/2005, Oracle 10gR2 and Dreamweaver. I was also the last point of contact, decision maker and also involved in management decisions. At times I have to travel to visit clients, with our Marketing Team to promote and coordinate activities between our businesses. I administer company’s Virtual Dedicated Server (Windows 2003 Server & Linux Fedora 6) which host over client websites, and I look after addition of new domains, backup of the server for all the websites, troubleshooting the server, creation of new emails. I am also the lead developer for .net or PHP based applications. When a project was awarded to the company I would look after the development of a complete project plan, assigning various project modules to a team of 10 developers and ensure that all the developers complete their assigned tasks to the deadline so that the project completes to the advised target deadline. Once the project would be completed I would create a technical document which would be given to the requester along with their project details.
