Graduated from university with a 2:1 in Law but fell out of love with the legal profession.
I have been working in administration for a few years and although temping has provided me with vast experience and knowledge, I am now looking for a career and not just a "contract" or "placement." What I have learnt from being a PA or being a Team Assistant or company administrator are skills that are transferable. I would like the opportunity to build upon what I have learnt from temping and I now am looking to find a company where I can settle into and feel at home.
Most recently, I have spent time working for Local Authorities, specifically working within the Social Care arena - Personalisation, Brokerage, Performance however I want to move away from Local Authorities and Social Care and see what other sectors have to offer.
I have an avid interest in sports and feel that a career in this field would be very rewarding.
Whether working as an individual or working as part of a team I am an extremely hard worker and am willing to go the extra mile to achieve the desired result. Unlike some, I actually do enjoy administration and being the person "behind the scenes" and it is reward enough when things go to plan and it is a job well done. I am efficient and organised and am willing to learn in order to develop. I am a quick learner and adapt well to new situations. I fit in with teams of all ages and ethnicities and can interact with people on all levels. I can also appreciate the need for confidentiality in the business environment.
I am comfortable with Microsoft Office from 2003 to 2010 (incl Outlook), I have experience of raising purchasing orders using Oracle, Internet Explorer/Google Chrome/Firefox and I can troubleshoot some PC issues. In terms of qualifications I have a European Computer Driving Licence and Business Administration NVQ.

I was also lucky enough to work for an organisation that worked with out of work 18-24 year old clients who were on the New Deal programme.
