• Provides generalist operational HR support, by providing first level advice and hands on support where required, on key people management/HR processes for the specific divisions of a business segment including Performance Management, Issues Management, Disciplinaries, Grievances, Succession Planning etc.
• Interprets and administers HR policies and programs; Manages requests such as: job status/location/manager changes, promotions, terminations and severance agreements.
• Handling all documentation and the HRIS for the group of companies
• Initial screening and shortlisting of vacancy applications and scheduling of interviews
• Maintaining medical insurance for all employees at the group of companies and timely follow up.
• Monitor, audit, and administer HRIS database integrity & configure HRIS systems functionality in accordance with organization's needs
• Troubleshoot data/system performance and process issues to implement necessary improvements through system upgrades and redesigning projects
• Facilitates team engagement sessions where appropriate and supports managers through the Employee Engagement Survey process, analysing results and identifying and implementing solutions.
• Works with the HR Manager on any structural changes, ensuring that the change programme is in line with Company goals, ways of working and cost challenges
• Prepare and handling documentations related to recruiting, terminations, compensations and involve in all HR related activities as required.

Knowledge Symposium on Labour Relations

Head of the HR club in 2011 which organized the "Knowledge Symposium on Labour Relations” over 350 employees from more than 50 companies were participated in the event which was highly succeeded.

Nenasala - Course Management System

Nenasala” is a telecentre project by the Government of Sri Lanka which aims to provide access to “diverse and unrestricted sources of information and means of communication” to all the citizens. It has developed under the e-Sri Lanka Initiative which is implemented by the ICT Agency of Sri Lanka.
Project Coordinator of the team which developed the Course Management System for the Nenasala programme.
