Beef Maintenance Supervisor
Maintenance supervisor responsibilities included but not limited to.
Provide daily safety meetings with mechanics.
Insure that preventive maintenance work orders are completed.
Issue emergency work orders as required to insure repairs are completed as to reduce / eliminate down time.
Reveiw daily operations requirements with supervisors on 2nd and 3rd shift and reveiw each shifts concerns.
Reveiw all equipment PMs, modify, update, create new PM procedures where needed to keep production up time.
Create critical parts lists for all equipment, work with inventory management control on stocking of these parts.
Work with all other maintenance supervisors of electrical department and IT department when equipment repairs require skill levels in various areas of expertise that demand team effort.
Report daily with GM and plant engineer on plant start up and all production concerns.
Work with USDA and food safety department to ensure all equipment and personnel are following government and plant food safety procedures and requirements.
Work closely with safety and HR department that GMP,
PPE and all company policies are being followed.
Work with union representatives as needed to resolve any employee issues in house.
Bring in outside contractors as required for projects as directed by upper management. Require job bid with scope of work detailed when using two or more contractors unless using a preferred contractor as determined by GM.
Provide all manuals, including but not limited to safety guidelines, lock out tag out procedures, parts lists, and detailed instuctions for mechanics.
Work with upper management to schedule factory trained service contracts on complex equipment. Set up factory operator and maintenance training programs for select employees that demonstrate positive attitudes that reflect
