I am a professional Knitter & Crocheter who is able to work on short or long term projects. I believe that anyone can learn to knit or crochet, regardless of their abilities. I have tutored at the St Mungo's Broadway Recovery College.


Getting Active: Move on Training

The Move On Training Programme (MOT) is a two day course which explores some of the key issues around and support towards a successful move-on into social and private rented accommodation. Providing a reference to housing providers and demonstrates that the learner is aware of their rights and responsibilities as a tenant. The course is peer-led and client focused. Topics covered include:

- Growing with change
- Money Management
- Wellbeing
- Rights & Responsibilities
- Getting Active

Teaching and learning approaches: Group discussions, workshops and/or activities. The course is interactive and fun.

Getting Active: Let's Talk About Money

Money Management workshop: a 3 module course, looking at attitudes towards money and developing creative ways of budgeting whilst in the receipt of benefits

An interactive course, using structured presentations as a basis for group discussions and practical activities.

Knitting & Crocheting for Beginners

Creativity & Self Expression: Personalising your Space

Personalising your Space: a 3 module course which is hands on and practical, looking at turning everyday items into decorative items for the living environment.

The course is interactive and includes structured presentations as a basis for generating ideas and group discussions.

There is no formal assessment, but feedback is encouraged and welcomed on the course.

Health & Wellbeing: Eating Well on a Budget

Healthy Eating Workshop: a 3 module course. The aim of the workshops is to think creatively about healthy eating and to plan and cook a meal on a low budget.

The course uses an interactive approach, including structured presentations as a basis for group discussions and practical activities.
