Product & Vendor Development, Project Management, Purchasing & Quality activities involving various technologies of Surface Treatment for Volvo Group Trucks Technologies - Volvo, Renault, Nissan Diesel (UD), Mack & Eicher Trucks in India & SEA.

1.Develop Surface Treatment Process as per Global STIM (Surface Treatment Index Model) for application in the parts of trucks, buses, industrial engines & transmission systems,based on the functional requirements.
2.Assess Suppliers based on Volvo Global STIM – Surface Treatment Index Model Process and assist to source parts in India & SEA.
3.Conduct Product Test Run specific to Surface Treatment technology at the suppliers & at Volvo Laboratory as per the specification requirements during the product approvals & periodic checks at fixed frequency.
4.Responsible for 3rd party Surface Treatment Lab approvals.
5.Conduct Periodic Process Audits at the suppliers for various technologies.
6.Reviewing plans & testing for introduction of new paint system in accordance with design specification.
7.Analyze & Solve technical problems using Quality Tools
8.Commercial Negotiations with the Suppliers – Paint Shops, Paint Manufacturers.
