Job outline:
Responsible for monitoring and coordinating the day to day operations of RGIA(Rajiv Gandhi International Airport)
Responsible for resource planning and allocation, which involves Aircraft Stand allocation, Baggage carousel allocation, Check in counters allocation, Service desk/Hand Baggage only, counters allocation and Gates allocation.
Plan, prepare and distribute MAYFLY- a 24 hr 'Daily Resource Allocation'.
Responsible for updating the Airport Operations Data Base (AODB) via UFIS. The billing of RGIA customers, especially Airlines operating into RGIA, will be based on the data from AODB.
Responsible for approving slots to AD-hoc flights, non-schedule flights, chartered operations, Training Flights intend to operate in to RGIA, thus, allocating required resources to these operations and coordinating with Ground Handlers/Airlines and other Agencies for smooth accommodation and handling of these flights at RGIA.
Responsible for coordination with various departments during VIP and VVIP movements.
Plan, work out and allot slots for all planned and preventive maintenance works (PPM) for the entire airport.
Responsible for initiating and executing all necessary actions as per Aerodrome Emergency Plan(AEP) during emergency situations like Local Standby, Full Standby, Aircraft Crash, Structural fire, Attack on PTB, Hijack, In-flight mass casualties, Natural disasters, medical Emergencies and Removal of disabled aircraft on runway.
Attending Mock drills and Table top exercises and work on continuous improvement

Operations In charge - Job outline:
Plan, Prepare, file flight plans, obtain ADC and FIC clearances and ensure the appropriate weather reports are available to the pilot which includes METAR, TAF, etc.
Responsible for obtaining all legal clearances for remote destinations and ensure enough security is provided to the helicopter.
Assisting the pilot in Navigation while flying.
Arranging fuel and consumables at flight destinations and departures and in charge for remitting all Landing, parking, Handling and Route Navigation Flight Charges to the concerned authorities on time and maintain the accounts.
Plan and arrange the hangar with HAL, Bangalore as per inspection schedule for maintenance.

Nodal Officer- Job outline:
Ensuring that detailed work scope and its accomplishment is made available to the Aircraft Maintenance Organization (AMO) entered into contract for carrying out maintenance activities.
Ensuring regular receipt of aircraft specific technical literature and their amendments, making it available with the AMO and its inclusion in the work scope.
Carrying out checks/surveillance inspection while the maintenance is in progress.
Responsible to ensure availability of all special tools and fixtures required for performance of maintenance tasks undertaken by AMO and maintain a list of such inventories and verify the availability of the same from time to time.
Responsible to provide required spare parts and components from approved sources with appropriate documents before use on the aircraft owned/operated by his organization.


Aim : To obtain clearance from the Air Force Station and District magistrate and then site plan, design and construction of a private helipad with Hangar at Nelamangala. Bangalore
Reason : To carry out Flight Operations
Result : Clearance is obtained and so as the plan and design of Helipad.
