At the end of 2009, the economy hit everyone like a lead balloon. Most VAs were impacted because our 1-on-1 services were connected to our clients' ability to pay. Sadly, VA services were the first to go for many coaches. It was at that time that I vowed to make a change in 2010 that would impact not only my family, but others too. I decided to introduce my product-based model to the VA industry through my new association -- National Association of Virtual Assistants for Coaches. You can't imagine the credibility that comes with an association that sets NAVAC apart from non-Association training programs.
With NAVAC, I strive to help each member find a new voice where she can speak boldly about who she is, confidently about what talents she brings to the table, humbly about how she has impacted others, and courageously about her worth. Plus, NAVAC will help her build a revenue-generating business model to combat the shifting economy. Coaches have been using this model for years, and Coaches VAs can serve proactively based on experience and with NAVAC's assistance.
I know that there is a lot of change involved in building a sustainable business that you love. I also know that most VAs don't move forward out of fear. NAVAC can erase the fear by providing nurturing environments for the change, allowing each member the space and time she needs to own the change, rewarding every effort and accomplishment -- shouting it from the rooftops, so to speak. NAVAC is here to assist each other as we support our coaches. I hope you'll join us.

National Association of Virtual Assistants for Coaches

NAVAC is a business development association for virtual assistants who support coaches at varying degrees. We use a curriculum-based approach to filling in the gaps and helping each member to solidfy her business floor. Coaches VAs have a unique need to build their business in a parallel plane with their coach. Only then can she be a proactive member or partner in her work with coaches. Our programs are delivered as 30-day workshops, project-based masterminds, and experiential project teams.

The Coaches Console

As the Program Director of VA Fulfillment Services, I manage the Certified VA Support Team and facilitate the VA Boot Camp for The Coaches Console. I am responsible for coordinating the support our members receive from our VA Team in working with their consoles. I designed the 8-week intensive boot camp certification program that trains other virtual assistants on how to setup and use the console with their coaches.

Emerging Virtual Assistance is my company where I provide online business management and virtual assistance for coaches, public speakers and authors. I facilitate weekly business development workshops for new and emerging virtual assistant business owners through my VA Inner Circle program "Change Your Mindset and Find Your Voice".

Facilitated a 12-member community project team focused on the development of processes for a child abuse database system. Facilitated an assessment and analysis project for a health services organization that resulted in the development of a data collection system design for 25 health professionals. Collaborated with a non-profit agency to design an Access database system to improve their workflow processes.
Ramsey Street Alternative School

Contracted to conduct a series or workshops with student leadership groups to provide assistance in laying foundations for leadership, improving relationships, increasing self esteem, with at-risk students and assisting in the development and enrichment of the teaching staff. The outcome resulted in a school-wide talent and fashion show spearheaded by the student leadership groups.
