. Securing the Mine and Buildings building
- To patrol the mine and buildings and report feedback on the OB and Pocket book.
- To guard mine machines and explosives
To check for all objects that can be dangerous or harmful to the building or employees in the department.
-To operate the X-ray machine, the metal detector and the turnstyle machine
2. Securing the motor vehicles and departmental properties
- To search all vehicles getting in and outside the building & ensure that:
-No weapons or unlawful objects enters the building
-No Mine property is taken out without proper authorisation.
-To check if all officials who have laptops or bar-coded items sign the pass in and pass out when they enter or leave the premises.
3. Control of Visitors
To register them on the visitors roll
To make sure that all visitors declare all their belongings that they have when they come into the property and
To check their bags when they leave in order to make sure that they do not leave with properties of the department.
To secure parking for visitors and to escort them to their allocated spaces.
To give and report all security related information to the management and to give information to the public about mine locations.
5. Crowd Control
I sometimes worked at the gate to control people looking for employment.

Receive payment by cash, cheque, credit cards, vouchers, or automatic debits.
Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers.
Count money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change.
Greet customers entering establishments.
Maintain clean and orderly checkout areas.
Establish or identify prices of goods, services or admission, and tabulate receipts/ invoice using calculators, cash registers, or optical price scanners.

Prepare daily lesson plans to help the children start learning basic education to get them ready for primary school.
The preschool teacher must also prepare creative activities for the children to complete each day arts and crafts, music and imagination themes
prepare outdoor activities and games ensure a safe play environment for the children to engage in activities within.
Cater to the basic needs of the children, feed the children, serve them beverages and help them with their bathroom needs.
Ensure that they provide a comfortable, nurturing environment for the little ones within their care.
Monitor their development. It is important to know which children are doing fine and which ones may need a little extra help
Meeting with other education professionals and parents of the children. Discuss their lesson plans, what they are doing to improve their classroom techniques and how each of the children are doing with their progress
