(OTC) in Kuwait which is well known specialized center in kidney transplantation in which around 100 cases of renal transplant patients are performed annually.
❖ I am dealing with recipient of cadaveric and living donors.
❖ I am shearing with my team in kidney transplant recipient assessment and donor selection
❖ I am dealing with all post transplant complications e.g. cardiovascular complications, infections, malignancy, etc.
❖ I add to my experience with continuous dialysis (CVVH, CVVHD, and CVVHDF) and plasma exchange another one with immunoadsorption.
❖ I did renal graft biopsy and dealing with complicating renal transplant ICU patients.
❖ I am sharing in some researches and studies
❖ Performing renal biopsies for kidney transplant cases when indicated
❖ Doing bed side ultrasound for renal cases

❖ Inserting temporary vascular access( femoral and central line ) for patients who have kidney failure indicated for renal replacement therapy
❖ Performing some internal medicine manual skills like paracentesis, pleurocentesis, and joint aspiration and taking arterial blood sample.

I have my residency in nephrology in the NINU in Cairo which is a teaching institute. In this 200 bed institute entirely dedicated to renal, urological and transplanted patients. It is a unique institute for nephrology in Egypt in which around 100 cases of renal transplantation are performed annually. I had the duties of selecting, preparing and following those patients before, during and after transplantation. Amongst my duties also where all kinds of general nephrology patients, follow up of more than 180 hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis patients including urgent dialysis sessions, insertion of central catheters was a routine practice in my duties apart from 2 days in OPD per week. I looked after patients who has intrinsic renal disease like glomerulonepheritis, interistitial nephtitis and vasculitis, cases with systemic diseases involving the renal system, cases with acute kidney injury and patients in different stages of chronic kidney diseases(CKD).In addition to inserting difficult temporary vascular access.
