Work History

I did vocational work and temporary work at a shop called Elijah And Sons General Dealer where I worked Monday to Fridays and sometimes on Saturdays, where I was a Cashier, Data Capture, Administrative work, Reported all dealings to the manager, and also supervised everything that took place in the General Dealer and also supervised the coordination of other staff in the shop by communicating well with them all and enhancing my interpersonal skills with all customers we come in contact with everyday. I had a close contact and a great friendship with all my customers and maintained good service delivery at all times and made sure that my planning and organizing is up to standard and scratch so that I deliver all orders to my customers in time and make sure that they are all satisfied. I also recorded everything that I sold for cash in Cash Receipts Journal, and I recorded all new stock that has been brought into the shop in a separate stock book, and I also recorded all debtors who bought stock on credit in a Cash Payment Journal and all their payments and settlements in the Debtors journal. I also ensure that I receive all stock from suppliers in time and make sure that once I receive my debtors payments I also pay all my creditors in time. I also had to balance off the money that has been accumulated at the end of each day by showing it down and signing for the amount and once a week I have to review the performance of the business if there is growth or any old debtors that have to be written off and make sure that we have enough bad debts allowance each month I case a debtor is written, although we always encourage our debtors to pay their debts by giving them discounts and increasing their credit allowance and giving them presents at the end of each year for being good debtors throughout the year.
