Reports to the General Manager. This role provides support to the General Manager to deliver the external affairs plan in country across all businesses.
Establish and maintain risk based external relationship map and advocacy plans with Government and other key stakeholders.
Build community and NGO relationship in areas relevant to our business.
Delegations from General Manager to assist with culturalisation and compliance with code of conduct in-country.
Communicate key messages to national and local government and other stakeholders (Communication and Media Management).
Deliver operational responsibility for the social investment portfolio in-country working in close collaboration with the Regional Social Investment Manager.
Build and strengthen the brand by continually identifying opportunities to optimize and capture the value of the brand including events, sponsorship, advertising, and structured communication consistent with the brand positioning and values.
Work closely with Marketing to develop the advertising, communications and promotions plan for retail network and Commercial.
Manages all marketing reputation communication requirements for BP Botswana.
