Empowerment toward self care

Had a patient who who was unable to feed himself as dictated within his records but during another activity noticed his range of arm motor skilll's. I sat with the patient through their meals and broke the skill of feeding down into smaller parts and empowered him to feed himself within three months.

National Blind tournament

From scratch organised a National indoor Blind cricket Tournament in 2000 in Wellington. Had eight teams attend from all over the country for a weekend tournament. organised accommodation,meals, transportation, prize giving, Tournament matches, Prize giving celebrities and each team had two volunteer chaperones.
