Forecast monthly demand for all products in my assigned product categories.
Collaborate closely with Sales and Merchandising to develop national forecasts. Adjust these forecasts monthly to reflect changing marketplace conditions and/or accounts' plans.
Maintain close communication with Supply Planning partners to plan appropriate inventory levels, solve inventory problems, and match demand to supply.
Lead monthly forecast review meetings to report and explain changes in the forecast to cross-functional team members. Identify and quantify risk or opportunity relative to the forecast and recommend course of action. Explain key assumptions, and track forecast to annual financial plan.
Manage "gap fill" forecasts when shortfalls to plan occur.
Monitor and report accounts' retail performance and attainment of plan (sales, inventory levels, rates of sale, turn, etc.), adjusting national forecasts to reflect this performance.
Perform a wide variety of ad hoc analyses as requested, including: price elasticity, "what if" analysis relative to accounts' plans, impact of proposed assortment changes, etc.

Worked with other Account Demand Planners and Category Planners to perform system testing and data validation necessary for implementing new i2 demand planning software at Clorox.
Retail Replenishment Forecaster

Forecast weekly consumer demand for Levi's® and Dockers® merchandise utilizing a Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) system for four divisions of May Company (now Macy's).
Planned and maintained appropriate inventory levels to cover forecast sales while meeting retailers' turn and service level objectives.
Gained experience with Model Stock Management to achieve weekly replenishment at the sku/store-level.
Maintained ongoing dialogue with Sales, Buyers, and Planners to gather information on retail marketing strategies, changes to pricing/promotional strategies, developing trends, etc. to ensure sales forecasts and inventory levels were appropriate.
Account Partnership Program

Performed numerous complex analyses associated with analyzing the logistical requirements of our largest retailers and assessed Levi's distribution practices and capabilities relative to those requirements.
Designated department "expert" regarding the complex logistical requirements of Levi's three largest and most demanding catalog customers.
Responsible for developing and tracking department's annual budget.

Analyzed weekly sales at 100+ retail stores and replenished merchandise to support sales and meet Retail objectives (inventory levels, turn, rates of sale, etc.).
Planned for new store openings and ensured appropriate inventory levels were on hand when the store opened.
Analyzed consumer buying patterns and made purchase recommendations to Buyers, enabling them to maintain appropriate inventory levels in our distribution center.
Served as liaison between Retail and Catalog operations to balance inventories at the distribution center and ensure adequate inventory for both retail stores and catalog order fulfillment.
Responsible for training and daily supervision of two Distributors (replenishment analysts).

Analyzed inventory and sales at three of the company's largest East Coast distribution centers, keeping these facilities appropriately supplied from nine West Coast manufacturing plants.
Managed replenishment of the distribution centers during many challenging inventory situations: during large advertising campaigns, at times when demand far exceeded supply, and after long periods of product unavailability when virtually the entire country needed to be resupplied.
Assembled railcar and truck shipments, tracked their movement, and provided customers (food brokers, Sales, distribution center staff) with updates and availability information.
