Forecast monthly demand for all products in my assigned product categories.
Collaborate closely with Sales and Merchandising to develop national forecasts. Adjust these forecasts monthly to reflect changing marketplace conditions and/or accounts' plans.
Maintain close communication with Supply Planning partners to plan appropriate inventory levels, solve inventory problems, and match demand to supply.
Lead monthly forecast review meetings to report and explain changes in the forecast to cross-functional team members. Identify and quantify risk or opportunity relative to the forecast and recommend course of action. Explain key assumptions, and track forecast to annual financial plan.
Manage "gap fill" forecasts when shortfalls to plan occur.
Monitor and report accounts' retail performance and attainment of plan (sales, inventory levels, rates of sale, turn, etc.), adjusting national forecasts to reflect this performance.
Perform a wide variety of ad hoc analyses as requested, including: price elasticity, "what if" analysis relative to accounts' plans, impact of proposed assortment changes, etc.

Gained experience with Model Stock Management to achieve weekly replenishment at the sku/store-level.

Managed replenishment of the distribution centers during many challenging inventory situations: during large advertising campaigns, at times when demand far exceeded supply, and after long periods of product unavailability when virtually the entire country needed to be resupplied.
Assembled railcar and truck shipments, tracked their movement, and provided customers (food brokers, Sales, distribution center staff) with updates and availability information.
