Bible Teacher

Education has been fundamental to my development, and I strive to pass on what I have learned to others. With a Masters of Divinity in Biblical Studies and a hopefully imminent completion of a doctorate in New Testament, I am comfortable in applying for positions at a university level. My training has involved courses from some renowned scholars, resulting in a daily eagerness to continue learning. In addition, I have also been given opportunities to experience education from the perspective of a teacher. As a graduate assistant and tutor, I have learned much about creating courses, grading assignments, explaining concepts in multiple ways, and showing students the importance of learning seemingly menial information. My service as a spiritual life director contributed to my understanding of ministry, people, and the need for a biblical foundation not only for faith but also for practical ethics. All these factors have prepared me for pursuit of ministry in an educational setting. Therefore, my goal is to engage students’ minds biblically and critically in an educational setting by teaching courses of general Bible knowledge and/or focusing on New Testament studies (including but not limited to Koine Greek and the exegetical process) for the glory of God.
