Managed the JD Group-Nedcor Alliance and relationship, from an operations, sales and marketing perspective, through seven Regional Managers who were responsible for some 300 staff members based in retail stores country wide. The Alliance was a partnership between JD Group, Nedcor and Peoples Bank, to promote the Peoples Bank brand, product and value proposition to JD customers, in store, on a national basis.

Represented the Alliance at Executive Committee meetings of the JD Group. Presented results, advised on performance and discussed medium term plans.

Invited to join Nedcor with a brief to establish the JD- Nedcor Alliance to effectively position and increase the footprint of the Peoples Bank brand and product. Appointed Regional Manager: Gauteng.

In October 2001 was promoted to Divisional Sales Manager responsible for rolling out the business model in other provinces.

Commended and awarded on numerous occasions for outstanding contributions to the success of the Alliance. Received an award as the Top Performing Division in Joint Ventures. Selected to participate in the Management Development Programme at Stellenbosch University, Business School.
