Solar BAU Application was utilizing Solar Ad-Hoc reporting engine for its reporting functions
Solar Ad-Hoc reporting engine was planned to standing down by end of 2011, due to solar EOL the reporting tool will be switched to Business Objects (BO) in shared Technology Environment (STE).
Solar to BO conversion project involved to convert solar Adhoc and SQL database reporting functions to Business objects and provide a platform of reporting functions to users.

• System study and understanding existing Solar BAU application and Solar Adhoc reporting tool
• Translating Solar BAU reporting requirements to BO Universe and BO Webi reports

Description: The Financial data warehouse (FDW) application is to support the country financial reporting requirements pertaining to management reporting & local reporting.
Business Objects software up-gradation project is migration of existing BOXI R2 to BOXI R3 version.

• Involved in up-gradation and test the Business Object Software XI R3 content/environment Administration using Central Management Console to configure user and group security, schedule reports, and manage and assigning rights and privileges to categories, folders, groups, profiles.
