Cookie Baker

I bake cookies and take custom orders for decorated sugar cookies for birthdays, anniversaries, retirement parties, and more. I also make delicious cakes.

Work History

Cookies & Cakes

I have been baking frosted sugar cookies for customers for about six years. I have done a lot of custom designs and logos on cookies. Some of my clients include the Western Iowa Tourism Foundation, who had cookies with their logo on them to give away at a large convention. The local banks always order cookies at Christmas time to offer at their Open House during the holidays.

I enjoy making orders as small as two dozen up to orders of ten dozen. My prices are competitive with the local grocery store bakeries, but my cookies taste and look WAY better!

I use 100% real butter in the cookies, and plenty of almond flavoring in the frosting, which is a perfect combination of not-so-sweet and sweet. Ask anyone who has ordered cookies from me, they're delicious!

Turquoise & Brown Birthday Cake

I made this birthday cake for my sister in law's birthday. It was a 2 layer 12-inch round, white cake with white frosting between layers, turquoise blue over the top, and chocolate accents.

Happy Pastel Cookies

These are some cookies I made for my family. I love pastel colors, and just writing the word "happy" on some, and a few little polka dots on others made this tray of cookies cute and appealing.

Cubs Baseball Cookies

A client wanted Cubs cookies for her family, they were making a trip to a Cubs game and she wanted to match the theme by sending them off with a great snack. I used red, white, and blue colors to copy the Cubs logo on some of them, made some white with red baseball stitching, and then added variety with some polka dots and stripes, giving the whole tray a carnival-type festive look!

Blackberry Pie

I baked three pies for a supper event in Elliott in December. I made Blackberry (pictured), Cherry, and Apple. I used a new recipe for the crust and I believe I've found a keeper---it was flaky and light, and definitely the right kind of crust to accompany a sweet fruit pie! I also make cream/pudding pies like Butterscotch and Chocolate with meringue on top.

Cowgirl Diary is my own personal horse training blog that I designed and maintain myself. I have only had it for about nine months, so it's still fairly new. In the horse industry there are always fresh topics, inspiring stories, helpful training tips, and beautiful horse photos I can share through my blog. If this sounds interesting to you or a horse person you know of, please check out today!

2001 APHA Black Gelding named Toby

I am currently training this beautiful black gelding, and he is for sale. Toby will make a good western pleasure horse, trail horse, or all around riding gelding. Registered APHA, Toby has perfect ground manners, beautiful conformation, smooth and slow gaits, and a ton of potential. I anticipate spending a lot of riding time with him this spring.

Golf Themed Birthday Cake

I baked this 16 inch round white single layer cake for a golf themed birthday.
