Social Worker

Hi there. My name's Kerri and I'm a fully qualified English social worker. I have had many years experience of working with children as a youth worker, with children from the ages of 4-21. I have been employed by the YMCA and have also spent the last two years working on an American summer camp, the first year being employed as a group leader, and last year being the social worker for all children on camp. I have undertaken my placements as a social work student working within the Child Protection Team, and also working with ex offenders in conjunction with the Probation Programmes. Both of these placements I thoroughly enjoyed both of these placements and would love to find some employment in this area, particularly working with at risk children. I have volunteered working with homeless and also have experience of working with children who are due to leave the care system, and children with behavioural problems.

I am currently applying for my permanent residency to stay in Australia as I absolutely love it here. However, sponsorship would be the perfect opportunity for me if it were available as I am slightly worried about my timescale and receiving all my paperwork back in time to apply for this. I am currently undergoing my skills assessment and cannot apply for my residency until this is back, however my visa runs out at the end of October!

I am currently residing in Melbourne and would ideally like to stay here, however if sponsorship was available I would be very willing to consider relocation.

I look forward to hearing from you to forward you a copy of my resume and to talk about how I could be a trusted and valued member of your team.

Best regards
