Horse Rider, Photographer.
I have been riding since I was 4 years old. I have a long history with different horses.
I have a National Diploma in photography and am more competent photographing animals.
In the middle of 2010 I completed 2 weeks of work experience at The Shire Horse Farm and Carriage Museum in the heart of the countryside.
Where I had to start at nine am sharp and where chores started immediately.
The first couple of hours consisted of feeding the Stallion and giving eighteen stalls a quick clean out. The days also contained grooming four Shires, cleaning four more stables and giving guided tours to the public showing them around the farm and different horses.
The work in general was very active. At the end of the two weeks I was then offered a summer job where there was more tours to be given and a new foal to be looked after.
I have also been left in charge of the farm when the owner was away and represented the farm at local shows with the horses.
I have also had previous experience in looking after the elderly as I have had to stay many a night with my Grandmother after the passing of my Grandfather and she has severe Dementia.
I have also been responsible for looking after Pedigree Great Danes while the breeders have been at shows. I had to feed, lightly exercise the dogs and clean the kennels. I also had to house sit for them too.
