Lighting Cameraman, TV Cameraman, Camera Operator, Photographer

I'm a freelance lighting cameraman based in Ireland available to travel anywhere in the world on professional assignments. I have over 25 years experience working in all areas of film and TV production including national and international news coverage, advertising, commercials, corporate, documentaries for television and online use. I started my career as a camera assistant progressing to camera operator in one of Dublin’s major studios, Anner Communications. This company supplied news crews for all the major international news organizations who travelled to Ireland to cover major news stories. I covered political elections, kidnappings and news events in Northern Ireland for reputable television companies including BBC, ITN, Channel 4, Sky News, TV2 Denmark, NOS, YLE and many more. To broaden my experience and develop my creative flair I went freelance in 1991. I work mainly in television filming documentaries, travel and light entertainment type programmes as well as corporate and online videos. I have worked in over sixty countries in all kinds of conditions. I've experience working to the highest standards with all the latest cameras including Canon C300, 5D's, Red One, Scarlet, Go Pro and all the Sony range including the F-55. I have extensive experience operating under water cameras and aerial photography. I am also a stills photographer and have supplied press promotional photographs for many of the productions I've worked on.
