8. Install, activate, maintain and rebuild Pneumatic and Electronic Line Heater controls and ensure that they meet with the Electrical and Gas Code.

11. Installation and maintenance of AMR ( automatic meter read devices ), as applied to electronic gas measurement devices for customer billing.

Responsible for Blue Print reading, asbuilting, and working thru Construction problems and Work Procedures with the Operations Manager, Project Management Engineers, and Technologists. To identify defective equipment and station upgrades required, and implementation within given budget guidelines and restraints.

Familiar with computers in such areas as: MicroSoft Outlook, Word, and Micro Soft Internet Explorer. Lap Top use as an interface with peripheral equipment for gas measurement, communications, odorization controls, etc, related to the industry.

Instrumentation Technician

Duties: Experience was broad with a large variety of instrumentation and control systems, covering equipment from compressor station controls, RTU/ telemetry, gate regulator stns and distribution systems, and all aspects of gas measurement.
Responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of measurement, communication systems, pressure regulation, and compressor controls.
1.1 Install, activate, and maintain mechanical integrators, and electronic flow computers ( including solar power systems)
1.2 Activate and maintain rotary, turbine and orifice meters.
1.3 Inspect and size orifice plates according to gas supplier production changes.

2.0 Communication Systems
2.1 Install, activate and maintain remote read and remote monitoring communication systems.
2.2 Install, activate and maintain customer pulse output systems.
2.3 Maintain SCADA, Remote Telemetering and peripheral equipment, back up power systems and single point systems.
2.4 Maintain SCADA communication systems, dial-up circuits and radio systems.
2.5 Perform RTU software exchanges and recommissionings.
3.0 Pressure Regulation
3.1 Maintain pilot-loaded regulators and pilot-loaded relief valves.
3.2 Maintain control valves and associated pneumatic/electronic instrumentation.

4.0 COMPRESSOR CONTROLS - Maintain and troubleshoot pneumatic and electronic compressor controls, shutdown panels, unit shutdown devices and switches, associated with compressor operations.

4.1 Maintain pilot-loaded regulators and pilot-loaded relief valves.
4.2 Maintain external instrumentation including controllers, positioners, transmitters, remote temperature devices, thermocouples and switches.
