Project Tembo

Project TEMBO is a Non-for-profit organization in Tanzania. TEMBO is the Tanzania Education and Micro-Business Opportunity. Educating and empowering girls and women is our focus and our project work involving education sponsorship, microbusiness and informal education.

A group of my fellow peers and myself created a fundraiser where all the proceeds went to TEMBO. We held bake sales, a soccer tournament, and sold amazing hand made merchandise made by the Tanzanian women themselves.

We were able to raise over $2500!
