Let me Bless Your Walls
One of the ways I have served friends, community and myself over the years has been to write and paint blessings underneath the finish coat of paint on walls, ceiling and other surfaces. I have also painted images over and as the top coat in addition to the blessings underneath. I do this to create and or support the maintenance of healthy spaces, to cleanse new and old homes and or assist with new beginnings in existing and new homes, offices, work studios, etc...
In addition, several years ago I had the pleasure of re-building a portion of a cottage with my father. As we built and installed walls and flooring and I refurbished a claw foot tub - I took every opportunity to place Blessings inside the walls, on the Tyvek, the floor, and bathtub. I have wanted to do more of this over the years, but I was busy with work and graduate school. I am creating new pathways for myself and choosing to do only that which I love and serves the greater good one way or another.
Let Me Bless Your Walls.
Thank you your time and consideration.
Please note: I am willing to travel locally, nationally and internationally for an opportunity to work with you.
I Love to Paint
I love to paint. I enjoy painting on a multitude of surfaces: faces, canvasses, dinnerware (plates, mugs, bowls), wood canvasses, cement, walls, etc... I was raised by artists. My mother face painted at large events when I was a child, my father is a wood worker and designer and my step-father is a professional painter and professor of art at a local university. Creative expression is a joy for me. I am happy to face paint at your party, business event, street fair, etc... I use high quality paints.
Child, Youth and Adult Literacy Specialist
There is nothing I love more than to work with a struggling reader, of any age, supporting them and guiding them through their challenges as they discover their greater capacities. The greatest gift is the moment that a previously defeated student takes off on their own, having overcome their fears and lack of confidence to thrive as students reading to learn instead of learning to read.
