turnover is £33 million. The DMS for the Dealership was Kerridge (now known as ADP) and I have over 8 years experience of both Rev 7 and Rev 8.

Role: Management Accountant
Key responsibilities:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts to a 5 ½ day deadline
• Preparation of monthly and annual budgets & forecasts
• Daily business review and weekly business review reporting
• P&L & Balance Sheet Preparation
• Producing KPI & Management Information
• Cash Flow & debtors/creditors analysis control

Delta Motor Company was a well established Renault dealership selling both new and used vehicles for retail and fleet. The company also provided a service and parts department.
Role: Accounts Manager

To manage a small team of staff in all aspects of accountancy. The role mainly involved the day to day running of a busy accounts department involving cash flow forecasting, purchase ledger/sales ledger control, banking, credit control.

The role also required monthly responsibilities which involved payroll, the preparation and submission of the Inter Firm Composite (Renault designed internal accounting system) for Renault together with the monthly accounts for the Delta Motor Company. The preparation of the accounts involved bonus support analysis, balance sheet reconciliations, nominal journal postings, service, sales and parts statistics, etc. VAT returns quarterly.

Yearly responsibilities were the preparation of P60's, P11d's, end of year accounts and budget forecasting.

Spent 3 years in Nairobi, Kenya due to my wife's employment. I was unable to obtain a work permit therefore I helped an acquaintance with various aspects of quality management and training.

Autodata Products Ltd provided computer maintenance cover for various business in and around the City of London together with providing systems installations, hardware sales, networking, systems relocation etc.

Role: Financial Controller
Managing a small team of staff in controlling the accounting and administration of the business. Prime responsibilities were to ensure management accounts were prepared on a monthly basis whilst keeping control of cash flow.

Other responsibilities were Payroll (Sage), Class 1A, P11d's, end of year taxation, fixed asset control, prepayments, accruals, personnel administration and VAT returns.

The accounts were prepared using a Scala system with support from Windows 97, Excel, Word, Access and Lotus notes.

452 Motor Company Ltd

May 1984 - August 1997

452 Motor Company Ltd was a privately owned independent Vauxhall Retailer. The Company had a multi million pound turnover and employed 60 staff. The Company sold new and used vehicles to the fleet and private sectors and had full service, bodyshop and rental facilities.

Role: Company Accounts Manager/ Quality Manager/Computer Manager

Managed a small team of staff with responsibility for the full range of accounting and administration functions of the Company.
Preparation of internal and statutory accounts. Maintenance of ongoing records and preparation of monthly figures and analysis. Preparation of management information including debtor and creditor analysis, cash flow, forecasting and control of rental fleeting and defleeting.
Other responsibilities included payroll, VAT, PAYE, etc.

Full delegated responsibility for the control, implementation, development and maintenance of the Company's quality system (ISO 9002).

Full delegated responsibility for the control of the computer systems. The systems included were an internal Unix system, Windows based network system, Vauxhall satellite system and various stand alone PC systems.

Responsibility for the administration systems majoring on car sales administration. Principle areas of activity were stock control, cash flow control, vehicle taxation, registration, warranties and invoicing.
