I have spent the last four summers working on a summer camp with children aged from 7-17, during my first summers I taugh Sailing, Kayaking and windsurfing to children of all ages as well as planning activities of all types for children of all ages. I worked as a mother to 15 children whom i lived with and took care of there everyday needs. I was then promoted to a supervisor which means I working with camp councelors who could not deal with problems such as bulling and homesickness, they came to me with any issues and i worked with them to fix and problems they had. I also working with the everyday running of the entire camp, from planning activities and running full camp trips (with 125 children) to calling parents and dealing with any issues they had.
I also nannied for 3 children for a year, my duties included: morning routine, school runs, homework, cooking dinner and general fun and day to day runnings with the children.
I also helped with a family when they had a new addition. I helped and looked after the 18 month old to give the mother a rest, as well as feeding and careing for the new baby.

Key responsibilities in my fourth year at camp consisted of; overseeing activities for over 100 campers (ages 7-18) and 30 staff members; designing programmes and activities, coordinating team assignments and developing staffing schedules. Working with a variety of children and staff from different cultural backgrounds and nationalities, I had to liaise with staff and senior management team in relation to children's welfare. Using my knowledge enthusiasm and initiative I was able to work independently, and within a team leading and planning a number of different activities such as sailing workshops and windsurfing clinics.
Part of my role was to support, help and advice over 150 children during their time at camp, Observing, evaluating and providing them with feedback on behaviour when required, followed by Liaisons between parent and the child, fielding any concerns worries or problems which either the parent or child had. As well as assisting with the everyday running of the waterfront I was responsible for observing and giving feedback to counsellors to keeping equipment up and running and overseeing the overall safety of the campers.

This was my third summer at camp Wa-Klo, this year I was promoted to assistant head of waterfront, alongside my camp counsellor duties I was also involved in the general day to day of the waterfront, from checking the equipment each morning through to ordering and maintaining of the equipment.

As assistant bar manager I helped manage stock control, ordered and kept 'real ale' and was part of the recruiting, induction and management of staff. Day to day while on duty I was responsible for cashing up, staff rotas, and managing a safe weekly beer 'line clean ' . I helped oversee the everyday running of the business and liaised with kitchen staff and other part time staff to ensure the 'bar' ran successfully in a safe environment.

During my years contract, myself my boss and an assistant have successfully built and managed a team and reopen a boarded up old pub. As a bar manager I was responsible for stock control, ordering and keeping 'real ale', recruiting, induction and management of staff, cashing up, staff rotas, and managing a safe weekly beer 'line clean ' . I was responsible for the everyday running of the business and liaising with kitchen staff and other part time staff to ensure the 'bar' ran successfully in a safe environment. Also, often having to step in and help in different areas of the business on busy nights.

I worked on a children's summer camp Wa-Klo in New Hampshire, America. I worked with 7-18 year olds teaching windsurfing, kayaking and sailing as well as being responsible for a cabin of 11 year olds. This 24 hour job consisted of always being active, enthusiastic, energetic and encouraging for an extended period of time.

During this time I worked for a family of three, my general daily tasks included, the school run, taking to and from clubs, homework, dinner as well as giving the children a fun loving environment. I have a massive passion for children and love to watch them grow and learn.

I worked at STAYwarm the energy conservation company. This is tele sales work, there is a team of 9 of us currently setting up 12 representatives with two leads daily we work all across the UK and the representatives sell and demonstrate loft insulation and solar panels. This is a very target driven job with lots of sales opportunities and hours available.

I worked in a busy bar in Soldeu Andorra where I spent 5 months doing a ski season, I worked within a team of three working six nights a week through après ski and during busy snowboard parties, I had to deal with lots of different nationalities and personalities each day and be enthusiastic for holiday makers all the time. I was also in charge of stock control. The hours are often long starting at 4pm and ending at 4am but the job has many rewards and is extremely enjoyable.

During this time I worked as a bar maid and waitress at a busy popular bar located on Bournemouth pier, this job therefore consists of working within a team and being able to work individually. As Bournemouth is a big tourist area my communication skills have widened dealing with people from different nationalities every day.
I worked weekends waitressing in a pub this job consisted of glass collecting and waitressing, working within a team, building my communication skills with customers as well as staff and building my confidence at a young age.
